RECAP
Urbanization and Industrialization was an important period for Europe in the late 19th and 20th century. The main emphasizes was on the switch from steam to steel. It just seemed like everything was coming together. There was new technology that helped every aspect of life. The new technology allowed tools, bridges, dynamite, battery, electric motor, light bulbs, automobiles, telegraph, telephone, radio, and railroads to be built. Another huge advancement was hospitals' health care. They had better sanitation, vaccines, anesthetics, cleaner hospitals, and new cure discoveries. The cities improved with new buildings and sidewalks, but all this changing was making city life go down hill. The cities were getting over crowded and they started to have a dank feel to them. A lot of good came out of the urbanization and industrialization, but they did have their downsides.
REVISIT & REFLECT
The perfect city to live in, in my opinion, would be Hilton Head, South Carolina. I think it is one of the most prettiest cities I have ever seen. Hilton Head has a beautiful beach and parks. The island is like a microcosm of the whole world because you are on that island and it seem
s like the island is the onlt place that exsists. It is very peaceful. The temperature is just perfect too! It never gets extremely hot and it never gets extremely cold. During the winter it never usually gets lower than 40 degrees and in the summer it barely gets to 90 degrees. Hilton Head is very known for it's beauty and biking is very encouraged. Parasailing and kayaking are also other activities. It is beautiful and it's a blast! But there are some negative aspects of Hilton Head. When staying on the island there are high risk of hurricanes and also there are a lot of tourists and we all know how that can get.
