The whole start to the "New Imperialism" was Nationalism. Imperialist still have strong pride and love for ones country. The "New Imperialism" is talking about imperialism in Europe. Imperialism is the domination by one country of the political, economic, or cultural life of another country or region. The "New Imperialism" took place in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The "New Imperialism" happened because nation-states were developing. Speed was the main thing that set this imperialism apart from the rest. It was so quick and efficient because of the technology they had. By this new technology they could speed things up and get resources faster. The Industrial Revolution also helped the "New Imperialism" out with economies in Europe.
